A temporary pedestrian and vehicle bridge has been opened today (January 24).
The road closure and associated diversion routes have now been removed as part of the reopening of Bridge Road.
The road was reopened at 2pm by KCC Cabinet Member for Highways and Transport Michael Payne and MP for Faversham and Mid Kent Helen Whately.
The first cars and pedestrians (Benjamin Crittenden and his grandson) have used the bridge now. pic.twitter.com/F4ytTEJ4g7
