Environment Cabinet Member Susan Carey
Following the result, the Leader of Kent County Council, Roger Gough, has announced that Susan Carey will be reappointed as Cabinet Member for Environment, a post which she held between October 2019 and the May county council elections.
“I am delighted to welcome Susan back to the council and that she will once again be leading on environmental issues,” he said.
“I would also like to offer my thanks to Tony Hills who has so ably stepped in as Cabinet Member for Environment since the county council elections in May.
“As an administration we are deeply committed to protecting and enhancing Kent’s environment. In Susan and Tony, as Cabinet Member and Deputy Cabinet Member, we have a strong leadership team who already have a strong track record and will deliver on our ambitions.”
