Businesses are invited to find out more about the new Consumer Rights Act – the biggest shake up in consumer law in over 50 years.
Kent County Council Trading Standards, supported by Kent Invicta Chamber of Commerce, is hosting free training sessions during National Consumer Week to help businesses understand and comply with the new consumer law.
The breakfast event starts at 7.30am on November 5 with a free bacon roll and hot drink for each delegate and is scheduled to finish at 10am.
This event gives businesses the opportunity to ask Trading Standards any questions relevant to their business as well as being an excellent opportunity to network with other businesses in Kent.
Training will include:
• Presentation from a qualified Trading Standards officer
• Q&A session with an expert panel
• One to one advice with Trading Standards professionals
• Opportunity to meet other business professionals, share knowledge and experiences
Those attending will have an opportunity to put their business in the spotlight alongside making new contacts and generating business leads.
