Make A Difference Maidstone

Make a Difference Maidstone was able to provide a crisis counsellor for its work supporting those who are homeless, socially isolated or in addiction, such as drugs or alcohol, thanks to a £1,500 KCC members grant from Gary Cooke.

The counselling has helped empower a number of the people supported by the project to take control of their life decisions and help transform their lives.

“Investing in peoples lives is the most precious gift there is and this grant has allowed us to do just that”

The counselling service has proved so successful and popular that the project will continue the service once the grant has come to an end.

Director of Make a Difference Maidstone Amanda Sidwell said: “Investing in people’s lives is the most precious gift there is and this grant has allowed us to do just that.”
