A KCC Member grant from Martin Vye and Leyland Ridings supported the opening day of the Canterbury Festival, seeing performances from St Stephen’s Community School, Kent College and local dance groups.
The funding supplied resources for a community workshop which resulted in people of all ages experience art and performance for the first time.
The festival was a huge success attracting over 70,000 people.
